Included are letters to Mrs. J.T. Norman, from her son Tom mentioning a small pox epidemic at Roanoke College, in 1883; 14 May 1883, to Mrs. F.C. Norman describing Roanoke, Va., and 15 July 1889, Julius Drehrer, President of Roanoke College, concerning the college. Also a ledger, 1812-1839, of a tannery operated by Archalaus Lewis, and the Norman family at Stevensburg, Culpeper County, Va.; a volume, History of Stevensburg Baptist Church by J.T. Norman. A copy of Thomas Norman's Will 1838. Correspondents include Eleanor A. Stanton Bush, Jane Duerson, Mary Stanton Ely, A.E. Hammond, and Joseph T. Norman.
